RIBU Regional Inter-University Library Network
The establishment of a Regional Inter-University Library Network (RIBU) project was driven by the necessity to consolidate the existing documentary resources within the university libraries in the central region.
The Algerian institutions involved in this project are:
- University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene, Algiers
- Saad Dahleb University of Blida
- University of Algiers
- Abderrahmane Mira University of Bejaia
- Mouloud Maameri University of Tizi Ouzou
- University of Jijel
- National Polytechnic School (ENP)
- National School of Administration (ENA)
- M’hamed Bougara University of Boumerdes
- Research Center for Scientific and Technical Information forming a consortium
The European partners are the Free University of Brussels, which manages the scholarship, and Aix-Marseille University I. The network aims to establish a collective catalog of Algerian libraries that are members of the consortium.
