Guided visits to the different services

On February 10, 2016: Visit by INPED Interns

As part of cooperation and experience exchange between the UMBB Central Library and the National Institute of Productivity and Industrial Development (INPED), an educational visit on documentary techniques was organized at the Central Library on February 10, 2016. Seven interns accompanied by Mrs. Oulman Taous, Trainer-Consultant at INPED, benefited from this visit.

During this visit, interns compared archive centers and libraries, gaining insights into the operations of different library services.

On December 15, 2015: Educational Visit by INPED Interns

As part of a seminar organized by the National Institute of Productivity and Development (INPED) titled ‘Scientific Document Processing and Creation of an Electronic Catalog,’ the Central Library received a visit on December 15, 2015, by 11 interns.

Accompanied by librarians, the interns visited various library services, including the reference room, attended a conference on the different stages of processing theses, dissertations, periodicals, articles, and electronic resources.

On November 19, 2014: Training Visit

To foster cooperation and experience sharing among university libraries, a study visit was organized at the University Library for eight librarians from the Faculty of Law and Political Science Library at the University of Tizi-Ouzou.

This visit enabled the visitors to familiarize themselves with the operations of the Bibliographic Research Service, the Welcome and Orientation Service, and the Processing Service.

On November 10, 2014: Training Visit

Continuing cooperation and experience exchange among university libraries, a study visit was arranged at the University Library for four librarians from the Central Library of the University of Khemis Miliana.

This visit allowed the visitors to understand the operations of the Bibliographic Research Service, the Welcome and Orientation Service, and the Processing Service.”
