June 30, 2026: Quality Awareness Day on ISO 9001:2015 at the Central Library
As part of its commitment to promoting a culture of quality and raising awareness of the importance of Quality Management Systems in enhancing institutional performance and improving service quality, the Central Library of M’Hamed Bougara University of Boumerdes organized a Quality Awareness Day for its staff on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, in the Conference Hall.
The awareness session focused on the principles of Quality Management and the requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard. Participants were introduced to the fundamental concepts of quality management, the benefits of implementing an effective Quality Management System, and the role of every staff member in achieving continuous improvement and user satisfaction.
This initiative reflects the Central Library’s ongoing commitment to excellence, continuous improvement, and the delivery of high-quality services to the university community.
June 22, 2026: Coordination Meeting on the Use of the PROGRES Digital Platform
As part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the use of digital platforms across the University libraries and strengthen coordination between the different library units, the Central Library of M’Hamed Bougara University of Boumerdes hosted a coordination meeting on June 22, 2026.
The meeting was chaired by Mrs. Ziram Bahia, Head of the Guidance Department at the Central Library, and was attended by the University’s PROGRES Platform Coordinator and representatives from the faculty libraries.
The meeting focused on discussing the technical and organizational challenges encountered by the libraries while using the PROGRES platform. Participants exchanged experiences, raised operational concerns, and reviewed practical solutions. Several issues were resolved during the meeting, while additional guidance and recommendations were provided to facilitate the effective use of the platform across all university libraries.

June 21, 2026: Coordination Meeting on the New Clearance Certificate Platform
On June 21, 2026, the Central Library of M’Hamed Bougara University of Boumerdes held a coordination meeting chaired by Mrs. Ziram Bahia, Head of the Guidance Department, with the participation of the heads of the faculty libraries and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Library.
The meeting was dedicated to presenting the new version of the Clearance Certificate Platform. Participants received a detailed overview of the platform’s features, workflow, and operating procedures to ensure its effective implementation across the University’s libraries.
The session also provided an opportunity for participants to exchange experiences, discuss the technical and operational challenges encountered during the use of the platform, and propose practical solutions to improve its performance and facilitate its use.
